Date with the Dildo Cam

Ahh... how I've missed the wandmonkey. Appointment on Thursday a.m.

Apparently it was a good thing that I skipped out on the appointment this a.m. as the test would have been a colossal waste of money.

CD 1, and I'm actually sort of happy about it. Bizarre.

At least I'll get my medication and the first scan & bloodwork in by the end of the year, even if I don't get my full cycle in.

Meh.

At least the timing may work out for you with your insurance.
I hope the new year brings smoother sailing.
Good luck!

I know what you mean re: being glad its CD1- you wish it wasn't, but you weren't really expecting success anyway, so why not just get the next one started.

Awesome x-mas gifts, but I know what you mean re: largesse. My inlaws are the same way and they don't really have the money to spend. I wish they'd go easy and put it toward their retirement, which I know is underfunded.

The meds are so expensive, at least you get those!

Will you be starting with a lower dosage this cycle to hopefully avoid the OHSS?

New beginnings indeed!!

I completely understand being happy about CD1. I've been there.

Good luck. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

CD1 is always a blessing and a curse...here's hoping this is the last one for a long while.

You know you've crossed over into a new stage of infertility when you are actually happy that your period started. I'm glad you will at least get your drugs covered. That's a pretty hefty chunk of expense.

Here's to a new year, kid. Good luck and may this cycle be THE ONE. :-)

I know what you mean about being ready for CD1. Each time I would try something new, I was happy to be moving on to something that may work. Good to hear about the insurance - EVERY little bit helps! Meds are so crazy expensive!

Good luck!

Wishing you a happier year in 2006!

I'm glad you made it in under the buzzer with the insurance issues. Time for more answers and more solutions!

Very best of luck in the New Year!

Meh, is right. At least there was a plus attached to this negative - some sort of consolation, I guess. Still, I hope this is your last CD 1 (or close to last) for a good long while.

Here's to better days in '06.
